Platinum for TER Chemicals
Sustainability has long been more than just a trend - it is crucial for long-term business success. In times of scarce resources and growing awareness of environmental and social responsibility, companies increasingly see themselves obliged to act more sustainably.
At TER Chemicals, we take this responsibility seriously. We take the specific characteristics of our industry into account and focus on transparency: for several years now, we have been assessed as part of the EcoVadis rating system – and we make the results available to our business partners in order to contribute to transparency along the supply chain.
Our decision to use EcoVadis is an expression of our commitment to sustainability as an integral part of our corporate culture. After all, acting responsibly not only protects the environment, but also secures our future. Today, we would like to update you on our progress.
EcoVadis Platinum – among the top 1% in the industry for the first time
EcoVadis is an internationally recognized platform for assessing the sustainability performance of companies. In 2025, we received the Platinum medal for the first time, placing us among the top 1% in our industry.
This award is a significant milestone and the result of our consistent commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. Requirements are constantly increasing – so we are all the more pleased that we have not only managed to maintain our high standards, but also to develop them further.
We would like to express our special thanks to all our employees who have contributed to this success with their dedication.
Sustainability taken further
Last year, we continued to develop our sustainability management in a targeted manner, with concrete improvements that are now reflected in the EcoVadis rating.
We successfully obtained ISO 14001 certification for our environmental management system, thereby further reinforcing our commitment to environmental responsibility. We also introduced our Sustainable Procurement Policy, which defines our principles for responsible cooperation with suppliers with the aim of reducing social and environmental risks in the supply chain and further expanding our sustainable product portfolio.
In order to create commitment and make our progress measurable and traceable, we have formulated concrete, time-bound goals in all areas of our sustainability strategy and have already begun implementing them.
The platinum medal is an important milestone, but not an end point. We are not resting on our laurels. Our goal remains to continuously improve our sustainability performance and further strengthen our role as the “Distributor of Choice.”
